How It Works

Buying from a farm is a little different than buying from a grocery store. Here's the whole thing, start to finish.

1. Choose your cuts

Most of what's in the store we raised here: grass-fed beef, heritage pork, pasture chicken and turkey, and organic eggs. The pantry shelf comes from local makers we know by name. What you see is what we have. Some cuts are packed by weight, so we list the average pack weight and bill by the final weight. When something's gone for the season, we say so.

2. Pickup or delivery

Farm Store pickup (free). 157366 7th Line, Meaford. Wednesday to Friday 10 to 6, Saturday 10 to 4. See the store, meet our cows, chickens and pigs, and find in-store deals and products you won't always find online.

Collingwood Farmers' Market pickup (free). Saturday mornings 8 to 1 during market season. We keep your order cold until you arrive.

Delivery every week. Free on orders $300 and up. Under $300, delivery is $35. Same price in every area. See our delivery zones below.

When: Order by Friday 8 PM for delivery the next week. Most orders arrive Thursday or Friday.

Tracking: Our delivery partner emails you a tracking link with your delivery time. Need to change something? Reply to that email or use the contact options in it.

Everything travels frozen, packed to stay that way until it reaches your door.

3. The family table

Thaw it slow, cook it simple, and taste what well-raised food is supposed to taste like. If anything in your order isn't right, write to us at store@goodfamilyfarms.ca and we'll sort it out. That's the whole policy.
