How It Works
Buying from a farm is a little different than buying from a grocery store. Here's the whole thing, start to finish.
1. Choose your cuts
Most of what's in the store we raised here: grass-fed beef, heritage pork, pasture chicken and turkey, and organic eggs. The pantry shelf comes from local makers we know by name. What you see is what we have. Some cuts are packed by weight, so we list the average pack weight and bill by the final weight. When something's gone for the season, we say so.
2. Pickup or delivery
Farm Store pickup (free) — 157366 7th Line, Meaford. Wednesday to Friday 10 to 6, Saturday 10 to 4. Save on delivery, see the store, meet our cows, chickens, pigs, and say hi to our donkey. In-store deals and products you won't always find online.
Home delivery — order by Monday 10am for same-week delivery. We pack orders Tuesday and hand them to our cold-storage delivery partner. They'll notify you with timing and help you reschedule if needed.
Delivery fees (all home delivery): $50 on orders under $250 · $25 on orders $250–$499 · free on orders $500 and up.

GTA and Kitchener-Waterloo (partner routes)
- Wednesday — Guelph, Milton, Brampton, Burlington
- Wednesday or Saturday — Mississauga, Oakville
- Thursday or Saturday — Toronto
- Friday — Kitchener-Waterloo, Markham, Ajax, Barrie, Newmarket, Vaughan, Pickering
Out of area
Some farther towns are served on typical days but not guaranteed — availability depends on your postal code. Examples: Wednesday — Orangeville, Niagara, Hamilton area; Friday — London, Stratford, Woodstock. Call the farm at 519-270-1444 if you're unsure.
Everything travels frozen, packed to stay that way until it reaches your door.
3. The family table
Thaw it slow, cook it simple, and taste what well-raised food is supposed to taste like. If anything in your order isn't right, write to us at store@goodfamilyfarms.ca and we'll sort it out. That's the whole policy.
