About this item

The cut we save for slow Saturday dinners. Well marbled, with fat that carries the flavour of the pasture it came from.

Our cattle are heritage English breeds raised on a 100% forage diet: grasses, legumes and forbs, never grain, with sea salt and seaweed for minerals. The herd grazes rotating paddocks here in Meaford for a minimum of two years. We are what we eat, eats.

Cooks best in cast iron with a knob of butter and salt only. ~0.5 kg avg pack. Keep frozen; thaw in the fridge overnight.

Pickup or delivery, your call. Pick up free at our Farm Store in Meaford: Wednesday to Friday 10 to 6, Saturday 10 to 4. Order by Monday 10am for same-week delivery. Delivery fees: $50 under $250, $25 at $250–$499, free over $500. Delivery zone days → How It Works.
