About this item
The Sunday roast, with enough left over for soup. Our chickens are raised on fresh pasture through the season, foraging alongside a ration of grain we grow and grind on the farm.
Roast it simply: salt, a hot oven, time. Keep the carcass; it makes a broth worth the freezer space.
~2.6 kg avg pack. Keep frozen; thaw in the fridge for a day or two before cooking.
Pickup or delivery, your call.
Pick up free at our Farm Store in Meaford: Wednesday to Friday 10 to 6, Saturday 10 to 4. All online orders in by Friday 8pm to secure next-week delivery. Packed Saturday morning. Third-party shipping picks up Tuesday mid-day. Delivery fees: $50 under $250, $25 at $250–$499, free over $500.
